Issue

For the most part on the earth, soil will stay quietly. However, there is the elevated risk of erosion on some places such as steep slopes, roadbed, and embankments. It is necessary to will stop the soil from washing away.  This is because not only could this make the area that has been eroded barren, but it could also adversely affect water supply and introduce pollutants. Additionally, it could take decades to rebuild even the initial layer of topsoil, so it essential to have some insight on how to keep topsoil in place. HDPE geocell slope protection product is the ideal and cost-effective method to help prevent or stop erosion on steep slopes or embanks. Our Indonesian customer go and road construction project which runs across the hills. The slope on both sides of the road are steep. Solution

According to the characteristics and functions of the lattice structure of HDPE geocell products, the lattice reinforcement technology is particularly suitable for road side slopes or road landslides with steep slopes, uniform and solid slopes. However, it should be noted that different combinations of lattice structures and anchors should be used for slope protection for slopes with different stability. For example, when the slope is qualitatively good, but the front edge surface excavation instability appears to collapse, the mortar block stone lattice structure can be used to protect the slope and anchored with anchor rods; if the stability of the slope is poor, cast-in-situ reinforced concrete lattice structure can be used with anchor rods (cables) for reinforcement; and for landslides with poor stability and large sliding force, precast pre-stressed concrete lattice structures and pre-stressed anchor rods (cables) can be used for reinforcement. In the construction, first use sandy soil or clay with a smaller material diameter to level the base surface, and then lay the geomembrane. The geomembrane is not too tight. The anti-seepage geotextiles at both ends are buried in the soil and are corrugated, and then fine sand is used. Pave the soil or clay into a soil layer of about 10cm.

In order to solve this contradiction, the mulch film that cannot be operated continuously is rolled within the range of 1 to 1.5 m, and then the above-mentioned fine sand of 0.5 m or more is covered on the mulch film and marked on it. When connecting this part to the construction, please manually and splice the cover. Place the welding machine between the upper and lower film and the reverse welding. At the same time, the welding part is pressurized with rollers, and the welding speed is 0.8~1.0m/min.

And in the process of laying, control the slope, about 35 degrees to 45 degrees, to ensure the beauty of the slope and good drainage performance.

Grass, vegetables and shrubs are very effective at stopping soil erosion. This is primarily because plant roots tend to hold soil together, making it harder to erode. The leaves of the plants also help to reduce the velocity of raindrops falling on the ground, making it harder for them to dislodge the soil and erode it. The geocell confines the infill material, creating a stable layer protecting the slope from erosion.
